Our Staff...

Rod Cooke Construction, Inc., is committed to assigning a Construction Management Team specifically geared to the needs of each client's construction program. The Team normally will consist of a Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, General Superintendent, full-time Superintendent, Bookkeeper as well as clerical personnel. These individuals will function as a team and will work with all parties from the pre-design phase through post-construction. In addition, additional expertise will be utilized from our current professional staff on an as needed basis to supplement the efforts of the Construction Team.

 

 

A listing of each Construction Management Team member along with a brief description of his/her program responsibility is as follows.

Rod Cooke, President and Principal, is the principal who oversees the Construction Team. Mr. Cooke's primary focus is ensuring that the Team meets the goals of our company: a quality project, on schedule and within budget. In addition, Mr. Cooke assures that the staffing needs are met to make any project a success.

Auburn University, Auburn, Alabama - Bachelor of Science - Building Construction

Buddy Squires, Executive Vice President, serves as General Superintendent of the Construction Team. He oversees all field personnel, ensures scheduling and completion dates, implements safety guidelines, reviews testing and field/inspection reports, quality control and resolves field delays and/or concerns.

28 years construction experience.

Linda Bystrak, Accounting Vice President, provides all bookkeeping services for the Construction Team. In addition, she and her staff verifies the accuracy of all subcontractor billings and processes them accordingly to the Program Managers and/or Owners along with ensuring that all subcontractors and vendors are paid on a timely basis.

Wes Cooke, Vice President of Operations Along with being an active Project Manager, Wes aids in monitoring job cost and the financing of the Company ensuring budgets are met and our prices/unit costs  are as competitve as possible.

8 years of construction experience


Project Managers, work closely with the client's Program Team on all applicable phases of construction from pre-construction through completion and close-out. They have the responsibility of supervising the in-house Construction Management Team as well as the field supervision, subcontractors and vendors. In addition, our Project Managers manage project schedules, deadlines, budgets, and conflict resolution.

Middle Tennessee State and Auburn University at Montgomery 

Sean Babbs - 15 years commercial construction experience
University  of Cincinnati; Cincinnati, Ohio - Bachelor of Science - Civil Engineering

Terence Heenan - 26 years experience in Commercial Construction Management.  University of North Florida, Jacksonville, Florida - Bachelor of Science in Construction Technology                        

Lucas Cooke 2.5 years of experience
Auburn University, Auburn, Alabama - Bachelor of Science - Building Science
